Each Participant Painting Kit includes:
- 1, hardboard (indoor) or aluminum (outdoor) tile, primed and read for painting with acrylic paints supplied with kit
- 2 Paint Brushes
- 8 Pots of Palette Specific Acrylic Paints – custom mixed so that your tile fits in the final mosaic design you have chosen
- Instructions for Your Tile to fit into the final mosaic
- Link and Password to Design specific Online Learning Portal for step-by-step walkthroughs and painting demos

It’s always better to have more kits than not enough! Here are some great ways to distribute extra painting kits throughout your community:
- Gift school teachers with kits for their students to paint.
- Local Artists, Art Groups, Councils Committees and Clubs will have great suggestions for distributing kits to artists and families in the area.
- Share kits with community groups like scouts, sports teams, 4H, etc.
- Seniors’ groups and event facilitators love having new activities for their patrons.
- Distribute to local businesses for their employees to contribute to your mural.
- Your community Parks & Recreation team will also have some great kit distribution ideas.
- Many people would love to paint multiple tiles for the mural, ask who wants to paint more than one tile!
Please NOTE: This activity is a DIY Mural Assembly
To complete your DIY mural, you will need a mural backing (ie plywood or hardboard), tile adhesive, sharpies and a large ruler – our team has made hundreds of murals and provides expert advice for the best quality items at reasonable prices to ensure a great mural outcome. These additional items are readily available at a local hardware store. Finished panels are approximately 75lbs each and can be hung on any receiving wall.
